Targeting India's burgeoning services sector, Web conferencing firm WebEx (San Jose Calif.) in December acquired Bangalore, India-based conferencing provider CyberBazaar for $4 million in cash. CyberBazaar had been a reseller for WebEx in India; the former, with 2003 incomes of about $2.7 million and a 30% pre-tax profit margin, has a 90% share of the conferencing market in its fireside country.

E-learning content firm MindLeaders (Columbus, Ohio) in December added 45 of recent origin courses, on topics including Microsoft, programming and Web applications.
